so as i am told the reason for them moveing the turbo from the front to the back is because of better exaust flow, the less amount of exaust a turbo car has the better. any one think not?

It's been discussed before, but in a nutshell, it's a shorter exhaust, there's more room for a larger turbo, the engine can sit lower (since the exhaust doesn't need to run under it) and there are less bends in the exhaust.

my point exactly, it may be much harder to get to the turbo but the design is MUCH better.

Sales dude said of the new turbo placement, less likely to be damaged in front end low speed collision. ??? Yes, but, likely not the motivating factor in moving it. Then again, he went to the dealer training, I didn't. :)

Less exhaust, with less bends = less backpressure. The turbo gives enough backpressure already.

Thats why Mid-Engine Rear driven cars are so efficient boosted, i.e. NSX. But u gotta love our cheat smart Evo X's S-AWC:rock:
