I'm entirely unsure if that was a joke lol. Halo is an FPS = First Person Shooter ^^

I like racing games and have to remember to make my way to an EB Games store to reserve my copy of Gran Turismo Prologue for PS3. I did recently become a Guitar Hero, and that game is somewhat fun, but I have a feeling the fun will wear after a short time.

Racing (Gran Turismo, MotoGp) is my favorite, also like NBA street..but I'm cool as long as it doesn't have wizards, dragons, or any such sh1t. I never have and never will play WarCrap or anything like it, Zelda, you name it. If you cast spells or do magic, then I'd rather listen to Barry Manilow.

1. Ratchet and Clank. any one of them.
2. Gran Turismo
3. Hot Shots Golf Fore!

my top three games are all from different genres, but I am going to vote for Adventure (that is what Ratchet and Clank is, right?)

Personally, I got over FPS games 5 years ago.

Apparently, now that they're standard on consoles, they're more common than ever.

I used to play almost all genre of games, but I got through that phrase long ago. Now I mainly play with my racing games!

Besides Gran Turismo, I like cartoony games like Pacman world 2, Hot shots, all the crazy weapons in Ratchet and Clank... etc

I like all sorts of genre's including but not limited to........... RPG, FPS, Sports, Flight (some sims), Racing, Fighting, Puzzle, Action, Adventure, and Arcade (classic and new).

I do mostly console games but have a mixture of both platform of PC and console.

Rockband was my recent purchase........I got it for a little arm exercise on the drums but now I want to get a Wii for a total body workout. :jedi:

Boxing on the Wii, if you get up off the couch, can be a whole body workout. That is, until you figure out that with slight twitches of the controllers you do better than by flailing away in front of your TV!

Castle Wolfenstein FTW! We were hacking that game on IBM 286 PS/2's back in tha day! After Doom I never much got into newer FPS. My brother-in-law KICKS MY A$$ at Resistance Fall of Man, and I even own that game, but hardly play it.

Nice!!!! And boxing is one of the game that people talk about being the hardest to play on the Wii. Now that I got this tip I will keep that in mind when I get my Wii.......lol.

i still play counterstrike 1.6 from time to time. knife and deagle all the way.

i'm currently deciding on which system to get. the sole reason for even thinking about a ps3 is because of the new gran turismo game.

wii for super smash bros, and the xbox360 for xbox live, rockband, etc

Haha. I played Doom and Wolfenstein as well, along with some of the modern ones.

I got bored of FPS games after the Quake 3 / UT / CS era.

Honestly, for the money, you'd be silly not to get a wii (assuming you can find one).

However, There's some things that the wii can't do well, in which case you'll want another system. The wii/360 combo (dubbed the wii60) is quite popular. I'll personally be getting a 360 as soon as the hardware is more stable.

As far as the PS3, I'm not impressed.

I'm currently playing Metriod Prime Corruption for the Wii. It's a pretty impressive game.

I'm also in the middle of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS. It's pretty impressive as well.

Speaking of DS, I know a lot of guys my age overlook it, but it's truly a great system. My favorite games in recent years have been on that system. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Advance Wars DS, etc.

I recently beat Eternal Darkness for the GameCube after playing it for 3 years. Damn good game, but could use some tweaks.

Before that, I beat Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. Good, but not great.

As for the 360 v Wii v PS3 battle, it's soo preference. For any one serious about gaming the Wii is fun but it needs a second complement system as Dino stated. The PS3 is starting to finally have some good draw to it compared to the 360, but remember the 360 still has a year on the PS3.

That being said, the PS3 is a pretty good choice for someone deciding between 360 and PS3 right now. If you already have a 360 then not so much. The PS3 is going to be around longer and if you want an HD player of some sort as well... the PS3 is the (dare he say it?) cheaper option.

All this being said... I own all 3 and am quite content with all of them... other then the 360 being so poorly made >.>
