Ok so last night I was driving around fidling with my car & I noticed something. For the most part when your off boost and you shift up to the next gear the car shifts like shit. But when your in boost and you up shift its smooth as butter. Anyone else notice this....down shifts are always smooth.

By the way vote for this months contest!!!!

I notice that the harder i press the throttle (ie stay in boost) the easier it is to shift. It just seems to like it better than slow acceleration.

Today was a crapshoot for me when I left work, 10 degrees out and the car was just unhappy for the whole 1.5 mile commute home!!!

Probably not if it's just super notchy.

Did you launch after a proper warmup (assuming it's freezing cold where you are)? Miss any shifts? Hard time getting it into gear after it's been driven a while (20-30 mins)? For most of us I think it's just weather + cold starts.

Hmm...can't say I've experienced that with a warmed up car and not sub zero temps. I would think launches would only nuke your clutch and not cause the tranny to get more notchy unless you maybe toasted the synchros somehow lol

Ahh mine is that way... Just 2nd for the most part... But if i shift playing around from 1st to 2nd it goes in a lot better than when i drive it like grandma.
