: Evo X with Tint (30%) and 3M clear bra
PDXEvo 02-08-2008, 01:11 AM The 3M stuff isnt even noticeable until you get up close. The whole front is covered, including bumper, door edges, door handles, side spoiler, a pillars, behind the rear tires, and rear bumper. They also covered the edges on the doors to prevent door dings etc. Many thanks to the guys at www.highlinecustoms.com for their work!

PDXEvo 02-08-2008, 01:52 AM Yep, they sure did. Pulled the entire door panel off, sanded the original grommet to apply adhesive, and then put the new felt liner in. Looks good actually. Only 1 more day before I can roll my windows down again haha.

I have done 7 cars through the same guy. So he hooks me up a bit but the x's bumper doesn't need a lot of clear bar due to the black plastc part. So price is based on how much clear bar they use.I went wth 18" up the hood but you can get 24" (it will be more because they use more clear bra) but it over laps the turbo vent funny. Just call around and get some price quotes.

LowUFO 02-08-2008, 04:42 PM One thing I hate about the 3M stuff is that over time, you can see a white line around it from waxing the vehicle. I'm thinking of just doing the front bumper on either side of the black grill, and just the bit in front of the hood. Those will be the worst spots for stone chips anyway. my Suby took a beating on country cruises w the Toronto Subaru Club guys. Haha!
PDXEvo 02-08-2008, 05:34 PM $500 is SUPER cheap for this package. It takes several hours to do this, and the material isnt cheap, even at wholesale prices. I paid $850 for full clear bra and carbon tint. The tint is non-metallic, so it costs more then standard metallic tint. For reference, if you call around, you will be hard pressed to even get the 3M clear bra at $500. Cheapest I could find was around 600ish. Its always good to have the hook ups tho :)
