Problem Solved. hello, so here is the deal i bought my ap last night from a friend that also drives an x so its an ap for the x. He got a custom tune done and left it on the ap for me if i wanted it along with all the maps that come with it. I tried to install it the ap told me that there are too many maps to be displayed and i need to use ap manager to delete some off of the ap. So i installed ap manager onto my computer, read through the quick start guide and i see in bold words
The AccessPORT must to be installed on the vehicle before it can be connected to
the AP Manager software.
but i can not do this because like stated earlier the ap says there are too many maps to be displyed and wont let me finish the install. Is there anyways i can convert the ap to stock and delete the maps? (my buddy said he will e-mail me his custom map so i will still have it). Or any other solutions to my problem will be gladly accepted. Im going to call cobb on monday since they are closed on weekends and see what they say. Also my buddy lives about 350 miles away so access to his computer is not available. Also the ap has the lastest firmware and updates. Thank you for your help

Huh...chicken and the egg scenario! (although scientists now say egg had to come first)

Interested to hear what the resolution is to this. Yeah - you have to install the AP on the ECU before you hook it up to the AP manager software. You can't even INSTALL it to the ECU? :(

I'm sure Cobb will have a way to fix it somehow.

Problem Solved :godance:loving the ap now. all i needed to do was update my ap manager to the newest version and it allowed me to see all the maps and do what i need. Although i do have a question i did a dyno pull on the ap in 3rd gear from 3000 rpm to 7000rpm and it read that i had 324 WHP and 288 WTQ i find this odd because im only running the stage1+sf map. what do you guys think?

The dyno feature is only able to estimate power, it is not as exact or precise as an actual dyno. Glad you got your issues sorted out. When in doubt, update!
