Let me start by killing the rumor that "MR RELEASE DATE DELAYED" is NOT true. today 2-10-08 I went to SouthCoast Mitsubishi for the "Evolution X Intoductory Meet " I spoke to a MMNA Corporate Office representative, I CANNOT DIVULGE HIS NAME AS HE ASKED ME NOT TO, he told me that the MR will be released as scheduled in APRIL. Also the price unofficially will be the same difference between an Evo9 and Evo9 MR which is around $5000, since GSR is 32900 the MR will be 37900. They had 4 EVO X MR's preproduction cars and i asked him if it is possible to drive one myself, ofcourse he said NO, but he told me we can take it for a spin with him driving it, i said i'll take anything then nothing so, we did and it was amazing, a few bursts on Costa Mesa's streets a hard braking from 60 to 0 mph, no fluttering of the ABS at all and i think we pulled 1G for sure since my skull was standing my brain continued to travel @ 60mph, turning is a dream if you try to swerve the car would not let go of the ground and the chassi is so stiff it feels like it took tons of viagra. Anyway i met Sam and Greg at SC Mtisu and i put a security deposit far a PB MR with Tech PKG. Hope i aleviated the tension of waiting for another 6 mths to get your dream car. I have only great things to say about South Coast Mitsu Team.

I've never driven an GSR or been in one I own a '08 Lancer and the quality of the materials it's way better in the MR but i can tell you that, i guess you mean cornering, is criminal the car would not let go of the pavement you point it in one direction and there you'll go plus the Recaro seats fit me like a glove and the Alcantara leather won't let you slide on in at all, feels like you're pinned down and all instruments are at your finger tips.
