I'm betting that'll take more than an evening. I had a clutch installed by a shop this week and I think they spent 8 hours on it. It's amazing how much stuff has to be disconnected.

I have the same clutch, and love it. But I would say do not launch the car with that clutch until you have upgraded your diff pins. Ask me how I know...lol :(

I'm trying to understand the diffs in our cars better. How did you go about fixing yours? Send it to Shep or Buschur? It is inside the tranny and not a transfer case, right?

so if i get the exedy twin disc. dont launch it without the upgraded diff pin,or else im gonna break things lol. What about the exedy stg 2hd? many have that clutch n no problem with their diff.

i would say maybe 15%-20% harder then stock if that. wife drives it no problem ( wife is the reason I went this route)

the stock one is so sloppy and slippery compared to this clutch. it just grabs and doesnt give one bit.

I did stall out one time, first time I threw it in first. and the woman got it down after 2 stalls.

Once you forget about how the oem clutch grabbed, you wil be a pro!

Only 800 more miles to go, I think im going to do some rd trips axis rds only lol

I have the cusco version of this twin, launched many times, stock diff pins are fine. I think the problems may be just totally dumping the clutch........

$1325 for the clutch, 379.99 for the MC and I just ended up paying someone for install $650 for MC, clutch, and all fluid replaced with amsoil

vividracing they had some over stock and I got one of the last ones is what he told me. I see now they are around 1700 ouch, glad I had the cash when I did

Ams oil is the best!!! Thats all i use in my car!! Glad JMS did a good job jabby. Time to dump that exedy @ 5500 and see what it can do.

I will tell you want it can do.....break the pins in the center diff.

Yeah, I think a lot of us are in that boat. Adding power this year and hopefully next year will be rebuilt trans/new front LSD, and a body kit. It's actually the final drive that they change and not just 4th.

i know bro, george told me it felt great!!! Damn i wish i had gone with the twin disc :( . Well im tracking my car a lot so its just a matter of miles before this one dies and then i shall get my twin disc. Im happy everything worked out great bro :rock: congrats.
