What do you mean by that? The Canadian price or the US price? Or do you mean both, in comparison to the MR price?

Remember, you do not get the same electronic controls the Evo X has, and you do not get the SST that the MR has.

Compared to the less than $33K I paid for my car, the price is not that sextastic to me. :)

As a Canadian, if I was in the market for an STI I would buy a used 07 from the states and transfer the warranty (SCI will not honour SOA warranty on '08s). Trying to find one that isn't abused is the biggest challenge.

All US Evolution model years continue to be listed as inadmissable according to Transport Canada!

My car (a Subie) is fun, fast enough for me, a good value, practical, comfortable, has three pedals, and is the colour I wanted.

I'm not comparing the STI to the Evo X performance, I haven't driven them. Everyone can read the mags and the forums and decide for themselves. In terms of price in Canada versus extra goodies, the STI beats the MR by a little, but no SST.

We are more complaining about prices than saying the STI is better than the Evo X. I don't think anyone said the STI is the better of the two.

Sarcasm, no problem, just sometimes you have to let the other party in on the joke (a smiley wouldn't hurt!). :) You probably realize there are thousands of rabid car fans with a hate on for anything other than what they drive. I'm glad you are not one of them. :thumbup:

Honestly I really like STIs(Minus the hatchback look), not over the X AT ALLL I love the Evos to much but still I think the STI is an amazing car, must give credit where credit is due. The interior of the new STI is very nice, so for the interior styling I think they tie IMO. I wish I could take the things I like from the 2 and make it into one..like a Suburishi Imprancer STEvolution or something lol
