that sucks, I was just going to ask that, my new phone has some great quality streaming music. Is the bluetooth for the evo nav smooth and clear when talking to someone?

I can't wait.
thanks,
Kevin

yeah, the music server rips really slowly too. Also not happy with how I had to type in the Artist for every single track that ripped. You would think you would be able to just type in the artist for one track on the album and it would assume the rest were the same artist.

Can you copy MP3s from an MP3 CD to the hard drive? Or does it have to be a regular music CD?

If not then I read on a Lancer forum that it will play MP3 DVDs. So you can burn all your MP3s to a 4.7GB DVD+RW disk, or even a 8.4BG DVD+R DL disk, and have quite a bit of music available to you with full tag info. (you can decrypt/convert iTunes music using MyFairTunes or QTFairUse)

I have a pretty cool setup in my PT Cruiser where my iPod connects to the head unit and spoofs it into thinking its a Sirius receiver. This allows me to control the iPod from the head unit and allows it to display song/artist info right on the main LCD. I'm going to be a little sad to give up this functionality when I trade it in for the Evo. But that's a small price to pay for the other upgrades an Evo provides. :)

I used a device called a Wire-Tunes from a company called Axxess. As far as I know the only two adapters they have that use this Sirius trick are for Chrysler and Ford OEM stereos.
