As for the Turbo timing itself, it is not needed because the evo has After-run.

So the after run is pre-set for 3 min?

Yes, if air intake temp exceeds like 118, water temp is 205-212, and ac is on, fans will run for 3 minutes after engine shut off. but some of us have noticed the fans running even when these criteria were not met.

don't go thinking this "after run" feature is like a turbo timer... all it is, is some fans that bring air into the engine bay.

When these fans come on your oil is not moving in the engine, turbo, lines, ect. You DO NOT want a rediculously hot engine turned off with out you taking a few seconds usually only takes 30 second- 2 minutes for the oil to cool down to a normal operating level after spirited driving.

If you turn off the car when the oil is really hot, it will for lack of better word, boil in the turbo housing. Do yourself a favor and for that last mile of your drive, drive the car easy.

The after run feature IS NOT a turbo timer.

how many times are you honestly going to be blazing around for > 5 min then with no cooldown time (cooldown could be driving sensibly in a parking lot) turn off your car? don't worry about a Turbo Timer...

HKS Japan sells the plugin type turbo timer harness for the Evo X. I'm sure they'll start selling them in the US soon.

Not available for the Evo X in the US yet but here's their product link
http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=837

Update: I just checked the Japanese HKS website and it lists harness number MT-6 for the Evo X which is the same as previous Evos. HKS USA sells the same harness, I'm pretty sure that it'll work. Oh and I don't think they work with the fast key.
