As a number of you might have guessed, meatevo has moved on from these here forums.

There will be speculation and jest but I think Mlonker almost came close to summing it all up:

A guy like Meat that adds a lot to the community but alienates people by being abrasive. it goes on to talk about merchants.... but..

However hard it may be to believe, his departure has absolutely nothing to do with approved merchants or current applicants, nothing to do with sales, nothing to do with the competitors of his sponsors... you can have my word on that.

This is because its in Meat_evos nature to be rebellious. It has everything to do with his consistent disregard of the rules, he is a smart guy, he knew what he was doing and how far he was pushing things, personally I thought he added great value to the forums but I know he also added a bit of rebel, he consistently was abrasive and constantly flouted the rules for the last year and a half. (he has been probably the most infracted member of the community and a multiple repeat offender at that)

For forums like these to survive, it subscribes to a structure of rules and etiquette like any society structure, there are rules to be followed so that everyone gets fair treatment and everyone gets a say.. everyone is expected to be treated with respect and given the time of day. Without these enforced rules.. you won't get that...so letting Meatevo pass on was debated and considered for quite awhile as we don't take something like this lightly.

For members that have been here for awhile, you know that we run a pretty tight and fair ship here and make a point to be quite different from the other forum. You can discuss anything to your hearts content as long as its follows the rules.. (you can even discuss competing products to the forum sponsors as long as you don't put in the direct contact address)

So... once again meatevo's time is up, he has contributed good info on here, but he has also bent rules, been abrasive and disregards authority.. I'd say he has had a good run while it lasted, but its kinda like I tell my 3 y/o when he pushes the rules of the household.. 2 strikes and its the naughty corner. Bon voyage Meatevo its been fun.
