: Boost plot + SST

Did some more SST table tweaking this weekend. I have to say I am really warming up to this transmission.

The very quick shifting and the ability to hold boost all through the gears now really impresses me and should make Evo 10 MR's very quick!

Here is 2nd through 5th gear at WOT, Dom 2.0 at 25psi. As you can see it holds 25psi through every gear, even between shifts, doesn't drop boost at all.

Very impressive to me.

Damn my inability to embrace the SST when I was shopping for my X. After being in a few MRs, I sing a very different tune. Ha, tune.

Any tips on getting an MR running as well as you can (without revealling all your super secret ... secrets)?

I don not wonder about. As soon as you get familar with the function of the SST or DSG, you will notice, that there is always load to the engine, also during gear change. There will be no time with "open clutches" or no load to the engine. Consequentially, the boost pressure is always available and you do not have to reboost as you would habe to do with a manual.

Just another advantage of SST.
