Has anybody seen an X that is wingless? can someone photo shop one?

How about photos of the large wing vs. the smaller one?

Does anyone know where to get plugs for the trunk lid if one was to remove the wing temporarily?

wingless evos always looked ackward to me. i think they need the wing to balance out

^puke all you like...I'm going wingless for the street. I don't mind the sleeper look and it keeps the local redneck fat bastard sheriff Bud Wiener' (yep that's his real name..) off my back as well. I will keep a winged trunk for track days though...got to have that

I have the smaller wing..I thought it balanced the car out better than the tall wing.

I personally like the wingless look myself. I think it would look good with just a carbon fiber lip placed on the trunk. Im trying to figure out right now how to go wingless, but get all the options I want. Dealership says that everything comes in a package, and the wing is with it if you want it or not.

i tried taking off one side of the SSS wing... there are 4 holes...3 screw holes, and then a plastic tab thing... (bigger hole)..

8 holes will not look good with plugs at all!

The blue picture of the wingless one is just a bad picture. Some horrific camaro work makes it look like a damn SUV. I have seen some look nice wingless, though I myself prefer the taller wing and prefer it to the smaller one becaues of the black underneath part that adds the EVO feeling to it when I look in the mirror hehe.

Not a fan of the wingless, although adding a lip on the trunk isn't too bad.

Your car has a lip spoiler on the edge of the trunk lid! I had never seen that before on the base EVO X. Was that an option on your car??? It looks very very good...

I love that lip spoiler, but the ones i've seen online go for like $260.

Not a deal breaker, but I feel to old to drive around with a big giant wing on the back. If i was in my early 20s no prob, but Im 31 now and need a more sedate look. Im not saying I dont like it, just that I may be to old to sport it with my 2 cars seats in back seat. Doesnt look like i have a choice though if i want the package.

You are just a KID... I'm 38!!!!:godance:... but I do understand what you mean . I think a lot of people our age is getting into this car for the power and the less sporty look... is a beautifull car either way....should be a site to see 2 car seats on the back..hahhehhe.. I only have one...

This is what i want mine to look like but in graphite gray. How hard was it to cover up the blemishes left by the wing? I love the way the trunk lip looks. Its very classy
