Well since I bought the evo without the SSS package, my evo dosen't have the projector headlights that came with it. Now the question is should I get those OEM projectors or should I wait for aftermarket ones? I really want HID on my X, right now the normal headlights are not striking at all.

go OEM.. it may hurt you in the wallet but is easiest.

do u know the parts no. of the OEM projectors? and do i need anythings to hook it up or just the (projector headlight housing + HID ballast + HID bulb) and plug n play?

go oem. PLEASE do not get any of the 200-300 dollar kits that go in the non-hid housings. those that do become a danger to themselves and everyone else on the road. the halogen housings and hid housings do not direct the light the same way.

Unless you wanna install the AFS (adaptive watchamacallit Lighting system), then it seems like an easy installation.

There was also another crowd that posted on here last month I think that might be able to source you that part. (Cheap MMC parts etc).

I'll have a quick check to see if you can get these online, but I source all my extra OEM parts through my dealer so I get proper warrentees with it and I have no issues with my own vehicle warrentee. ( though this will be out the door when all the AMS parts start getting added).

yeah and you guys also have to think if it comes witht he motors to adjust light beam height. and the switch to control that. and then you got the housings, ballast, and the bulbs.

Depends on how much your dealer screws you. Catalogue pricing is at 42,420 Yen. About $400US. The catalogue pricing could be out of date also.

I ASSUME that it includes housing, ballast, HID bulb and harness. Check your supplier to be sure.

400 bucks for housings and hids are pretty cheap. oem hid bulbs are like 100 each. so 200 for bulbs, and i figure the ballasts may be another 200. and i know the stock housings for the evo eights and nines are apprx 700 each. i think.
