So I went out on a limb because of some feedback I got from another forum member whom I trust their opinion and I bought the CNT Dual N1 exhaust that ERZ carries. Not only did they get it to me within 2 days of ordering but was also impressed by their customer service and communication all the way through.

I will admit at first I was skeptical of the quality but once I inspected everything and started bolting it up I was more impressed than anything. Perfect welds and fit like a F-ing glove. Plus it was so easy to install took exactly 20 minutes once the car was on jacks to remove the old and install the new.

Here is a small clip of the idle and WOT notice the fuel / moisture it blows out, if that were a hot exhaust those would be flames :yay:

yes full catback, 3 inch piping from the test pipe and split to dual 2.5 inch piping after that.

Its a Perrin BOV but the loudness comes from the AGP CAI intake, even the stocker was hella loud and I'm running re-circ.

Its weird but it comes out both when warm and cold just the one. Just a matter of physics and path of least resistance.

I haven't used silencers yet to tone it down, but it is definitely loud. Might add a mini muff to tone a little of the low rpm down but overall its freakin money!

i've been bouncing back and forth between "budget" exhausts like the tsudo, turboxs, etc. i think i've pretty much made up my mind, and when the time comes, i really want the CNT. very straight through design, and it sounds like everyone is happy with it that owns one. from what i can tell in the vids, sound is top notch, and definitely makes the low price tag that much more appealing.

it's not full 3''...it splits to two 2-1/2" pipes

Actually no and even I as a mechanical engineer had to be reminded of this just the other day by Golden.

Two 1.5" pipes is the same as a 2.12" pipe.

Area of a circle is pi * r ^2... You know what I mean, Hollywood, I'm not going to spell out the math.

Square inch area for the following pipe sizes;

2.5" = 4.90874

3" = 7.06858

5" = 19.63495

Dual 2.5" = 9.81748

So as you can see dual 2.5" is better than 3" by just a tad but less than 1/2 of what actual 5" is. The dual 2.5" is actually 40% larger area than the straight 3"

lol really?! I'm waiting for the UPS man to bring me my CNT v3 and my speed circuit test pipe...just like your setup!

^ same setup i have.. love it it sounded ok with just the catback.. but with the testpipe it sounds friggin mean. only problem i had was my exhaust was leaking where it is slip couplings. might want to upgrade to another clamping systems

yeah diff clamps work way better. Get ready for some flames and parking garage fun.. crawling down the garage at work in neutral i set off at least 3 car alarms everyday lol...

I had a problem when I first installed this with the stock cat. It wouldn't line up, we had to mill out the holes a tad. I also had to remove the left rear tow hook. I put high temp silicone where the pieces slid together then clamped it down and there are no leaks (used impact gun to tighten everything) seems good so far. Done 2 track events with this.

It's funny b/c this exhaust looks identical to the HKS so when people tell me "What exhaust is that?" I tell them it's the Wal-mart HKS ;)
