This is where the Steel City will post about meets and local events. The meet tonight was a very good one. Hopefully we can all make it to an autocross at Beaver Run or North park one of these days to see who can throw down at the track.

There is an import event at Pittsburgh Raceway Park on 5/21. Is anyone interested in going to see what they put down? I am thinking of going. I realize drag racing isnt really popular for most evo owners. Its not really my thing either but I want to know what my car and I are capable of in the 1320.

^Only gear needed was car and driver. I think you are supposed to wear a helmet 12's or lower but they werent enforcing it. At least not to me. Best ET was 12.84, best MPH was 110. With a good clutch and some practice I would say 12.6 is probably feasible at current power levels.

Anyone going to Beavrun this coming weekend? On the 5th they are having all kinds of events like auto-x, drifting, something on the North track but dont know what. I believe the flashlights drags that were once at the Zelienople airport are going to be there as well. If you've never made it to the Beav this would be a good weekend to go and see what all they have to offer.

I actually don't know. It doesn't look like it though. I had the metalized stuff on my old Acura.

I think you can ask for metallized or the regular stuff. Dont clean the windows with an ammonia based cleaner or you will have super cool purple windows like all the rednecks using windex in their car. A damp cloth is sufficient.

dang, last questions I had was about the metalized tint vs the types that allow signals to pass through easier and the navigation unit :\

There is a storage place on 88 on the left as you come from Connor Rd heading toward SP and SH Mitsu. My friend stores his GTO and Buick there. Gated, cameras, card swipe or key to gain access.... Hope this info helps.

88 Storage? I looked at them, and while they're nice, they prices were fairly high and their roads are crap. I'd destroy bumpers and sideskirts trying to get in there...

Well this weekend is Beaverun's Chump Car race...we worked until midnight last night, but we simply could not get the truck done...:mad:but,we are going to try and rally and get it done for another one.

I used Rich's Truck Tires that Bethel Park(I think). It's a bit expensive, but I trusted them with my Weds Kranze Cerberus II and they were good to them.

I also let them mount my Work Emotions without any wear whatsoever.

I had some tires mounted here in Columbus on a set of BRAND NEW wheels, only to find small knicks in the spokes afterwards. Not happy about that. . .

Dude they tuned my car well Nate did Jason is the owner but Nate tunes alot of the cars my car made 331hp 381 trq and it has been tuned for 6 months no problems . Nothin but good things to say about them from me !!

Jason is the fucking man! im 18, and all he has done was treated me with respect. I couldnt say a bad word about him or his company, and now that i helped them out with the X tunes they are golden! I would reccomend. Not to mention they have the only awd dyno around here..

Nate told me he would have them made up and would try to get me back on as fast as he could. The shop is located 40min from me. Two days later I was back and getting a tune. I run 285/234 on a mustang dyno with 20lbs of boost. This car has 5500 miles on it and its my daily ripper. Thanks again guys, great job.

Being a new engine, everything is going to be expensive. If you're going to fix it, then perhaps an engine swap is in order...SR20?

I interned with the steelers when i was in college, it's literally night and day. I LIVED with the steelers at training camp, waiting on them hand and foot, with them every practice/game, took them 3 months to learn my name, and some didn't even remember it at the end. recirc or non- in my opinion they dont make great stock ecu MAF based valves- they are very abrupt in actuation- typically what you find is that you have a choice of a spring thats too stiff (slow response) or a spring thats too soft (either cracking open at idle or at light load) and that creates issues with making trims shift etc-

I'd sell the 50mm and save your $. using a MAF sensor and trying to vent to atm isn't optimal. However, if you really want the sound, it's probably able to be done (i haven't looked into evo req's)
