You will if you rip off the Airbox, and slap on a cone filter

I slapped a cone filter on mine and you can here the turbo spool up now and the oem bov.

oooo sounds 'interesting'.. count your blessings if you get free mods.. .. (Just as long as they dont break it) Might be OTT but make sure you get something written to that effect ;) that they will fix anything they break.. (just incase your warranty doesn't cover it)..

sorry guys.. been really busy recently. i dropped off the car this past tuesday and got the rental (nissan altima). Ken was a really cool person, infact all of the AEM staff seemed really relaxed and cool. They are doing testing and development on the intake and exhaust.... better yet, their engineering department is taking a look at the ECU and perhaps going to fab up a harness for the EMS... but thats a maybe...


2 weeks and i'll have my car back.. :rock:

I'm driving a rental cause job sent me out of town and didn't want to stack miles on the evo (oh and the evo broke :\ )

anyway... its a chevy hhr. Talk about torture, got an evo at home that i drove for 2days, but i'm stuck for the mean time in this ugly POS.

Anyway, traveling again out of town next week... but this time the evo is coming with. whats the point in having it if i'm to afraid to put miles on it. Plus i get $0.40/mile compensation so that should cover gas to and from and part of an oil change.

I'll be the first to offer.
Will post Giant AEM lettering on back glass for ECU, intake, intercooler pipe, dropdown pipe, cat, and catback. Will also run at local 1/8th, and come september will be getting a 1/4.
Will run both strips with lettering for free mods.

sorry for not replying sooner guys. the fabrication part is already complete as of three weeks ago. they are developing an intake and exhaust for the evo x platform. the gains are pretty nice. as of right now, i can't really go too much into the details as my knowledge is limited as well. i should be receiving my free parts soon because i'm waiting for production pieces to come in.

good news, my car made 240whp/260tq stock :D

as soon as i get my parts, i'll post pics and a review. any other questions guys?

Hopefully they test their intake on a newly reflashed cars since they seem to under perform with an intake.
