Might have to do some weight reduction there, replace it with on lb worth of pipe.
Stock air box, 9.7 pounds
Wow, and there.
Stock spare tire and hold down bolt, 41 pounds
Fix a flat will weigh one lb.
Jack and tools, 6 pounds
Hmmm
Stock battery, 35 pounds
Lightweight one instead...might weigh 15lbs.
So with these alone, my net weight reduction would be just shy of 90lbs. :)

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but this should be updated regularly and stickied if you ask me. Very useful information/reference for someone looking to put their overweight X on a diet.

I totally agree with this one. I personally don't like being out of my car, getting filthy, wet, or run over. Fix-A-Flat 30 seconds and go home. I can clean the wheel at my leisure at home, not to mention Fix-A-Flat is TPMS safe nowadays.

I dislike fix a flat. Requires you to go to a shop afterwards to have the fix a flat removed.

But...how often does it happen that you would have to worry about it really? I mean, for one, my wheels/tires won't even fit in my trunk, they would only fit in the seats, no way I am putting those nasty rascals in my seat. Maybe carry a couple tire bags, maybe...
Anyhow, sorry about going OT.
