Problem is, not everyone is your friend, so they don't pick up on or appreciate said sarcasm. So while everyone else should be a little hip to your sarcasm, you yourself have to learn to tone it down a bit. If you don't it will keep causing problems.

Only in the interests of the community harbored on antoine's site. It wasn't for personal gain or attention.. when new rules are imposed on an online community we don't have to just sit back and accept them.

That's all well and good, but once you stated your opinion and Antoine shot it down, that's that. Part of the issue was that you continued to fight the fight, and it just stirred up more crap. Another part of the issue is that Antoine isn't good at negotiating or seriously considering the input of others. I know that all too well.
