Broke my 2nd metacarpal last weekend in a game of rugby, I've been on fire and form lately so super keen on getting back into the game... how long did it take for you to recover?

I'll answer this after having lived through it.

Cast off in 2 weeks, no action but physio for the next 4 weeks. reccomended not to have any contact sport for atleast 7 weeks.

no operation required if for 14 day check reveals that you have no finger twist or tuck under the finger next to it.. phew.

you do loose half a centre in finger length when it is fully healed.
