I am curious as to what you guys are thinking of doing for tuning. Do you wait, and hope, that Colby is able to figure out the X and get OpenECU access to the PCM. Use a Cobb type device, get a piggy back style like Proceed, or something completely different.

Thoughts?

I'm going to wait for something that's either flashable or plug and pray, and that has all of the stock features + more.

I am thinking something along the lines of reflashes that can be done simplt through the OBD-II or something. I love the HKS CAMP2. Anyone know if it works for our X?

My last car I had multigauges that gave me volts, torque, and mpg. I have a Mafterburner Stage II Fuel tuner, and a Zeitronix (Zt-2) with egt, boost, afr-lamda, rpm, and again volts.

The amount of wiring that I took out, you should have seen it when I brought my car back to stock. There were about 15 different colors of wire. That shaved off some weight right there.:workout:

I had the same thing EvoX-LI. I had an AVC-R, Defi Link system, and Zeitronix ZT-2 system all installed in my car. The wire bundle was ridiculous.

From what I understand, the HKS Camp2 system works for our car, but it may be a pain to wire, since the ECU is under the hood.

I thought it did all the magic through the OBD-II?

I'm holding out for a full stand alone replacement ECU - AEM EMS FTW!

Just hope it doesn't retract from the S-AWC

:+1:

Or get help from vendors (AMS.....etc) or local tuners around town.
