I just got my AEM Tru-Boost today and I have it part way installed. I can not for the life of me find a way to get the wires to the engine bay. I have searched all over the firewall with not luck. The only other way I can think of is to drill a hole through the wall, which is my last resort. Any help would be appreciated.

Usually there is a gromet that you can get through the left side in most cars that will allow you to run the stuff over the wheel well lining, and into the engine bay. Dunno if this is try with the X.

The gauge is installed and fully operational. I am hitting 23.75 psi peak and tappering down to 19.7 about redline. So a pain in the ass to install but fully worth it.

I hve the gauge just kind of off to the side, not mounted yet, I am waiting to see what aftermarket pods become available before I mount it. But I will do the DIY this weekend. I have finals tomorrow and friday so i am swamped.

Setting I am using is 64% duty cycle, with the SPr/GAE at 5.0 psi. (spring pressure/waste gate crack pressure) The spring is rated at 12 psi, but that is all the way 5.00 psi is when it starts to move.

I ran the wires through the steering column, Just remove the plastic piece

I put a add-a-circuit in the circuit boc for power and ground it right next to it with the bolt holding the box down.

I will be more thorough this weekend and get some pictures.

Please review the How To: section for what to do before you make the DIY! That way I can add it to our How To: section, and you will be immortalized in the EvoXForums annuals. Which, by the way, is the highest honor anyone can ever ask for.

Just installed my Tru Boost and all my settings seem to be right. But when I'm boosting in 5th gear I get a check engine light. I haven't been able to get the code was curious if anyone else with Tru boost is experienceing this.

My Settings:
Boost setting A: 64% duty
