I parked my car couple months ago in the garage as I didn't want to drive any more in the winter , no issues ....
Ive returned home from work today anxiously to go for a ride
I started it and warm up for a at least 10 min , With joy I shifted the SST into reverse to back out and no movement ? .... I check my e- brake ... Yip , Its off , I press the accelarator more and I feel the car wanting to move but nothing , I press more and I notice the rear drivers side wheel is skidding as the car barely moves ...
Disgruntled I am , I Then Jack the car on all 4 and and I thought maybe the e-brake is stuck on it , nope it has slight play , it'll move an Inch or so either way ,I'm thinking it's something to do with the awc ? Rearend ,
If anyone can please chime in and help rectify this .... I hope it's nothing serious , it seemed to drive fine when I parked it 2 months ago now this ... hELP !

No your brake pads just got rusted on to the rotors... you just need to get them unstuck. ;)

there's play , it seems to move an inch or so each way ,kinda like when your steering is locked but it still moves a bit either way , I'll take the tire off and check it however my tools are At my bros house , cant get them till morning :(

give it some gas while in gear.

try to shift through all the sst gear while holding your foot on the brake. be be kinda seized from sitting so long. i think i read something in the manual about this.

You can try a screw driver to pry, some penetrating lube, hot or cold treatment. Usually best to just rock it until it lets go. unless the caliper is making the pad stay stuck on.... then you might have some issues with fluid, piston stuck, etc...

hard to say 100%

I did give more throttle and the car moves however the tire stays locked / skids , I will try again , with changing gears , I just don't wanna break anything
I really hope this works I was all ready to go and have my new wheels and rubber to go on tommorow
