Just thought I'd share a thread I found interesting. Maybe a lot of you have read it already.

ever consider that if you can run consistently leaner .. then it wouldn't be called lean spool ?? :p
Lean spool is just that .. one run wonder .. after the initial run it will revert to normal ..
Maybe consider this .. its not the leanspool function (yes .. its only available from the '09 onwards) .. maybe its something else ?? ;)

disable it...
disable LTFT affecting WOT as well...
its fine for a stock/untuned car to have them enabled, but once you set your tune for 11.4 you cant afford to have the ECU doing things differently later on...
lean spool usually results in about 0.5-0.8 AFR difference... the LTFT can make a MUCH bigger difference... IMHO the stock results that Naji was seeing was because of the varying cruise trim, more than the leanspool...

Do you know where I can find the disable for the lean spool as well as the torque limiter? Or is the Torque limiter the same as the 08?
thanks

which torque limiter? engine (P1241?) or SST (clutch release?)
do you have a gsr or sst?
i havn't looked at the enabled/disable method for evox, but if its the same as CT9A then ECU_OPTIONS_3 bit 0 (last bit) 0 = off, 1 = on

Interesting read but this may get locked due to linking to a competing forum.(So to speak)

Sorry, should have clarified. Engine.
Hope it is the same as the CT9A then, because I have yet been able to come across someone who disabled lean spool on a 2010 via open source.
