I am pretty sure many of you can agree with me by now that the shift boot on the X is a cheap piece of crap. One of my sponsors is willing to start producing custom shift boots for our cars in (leather or suede etc) with color stitching to the style and color we'd like. They'll even shorten it for a short shifter whent those come out. However they will need a stock X shift boot to create a mock up. Would any of you be willing to donate your shift boot for this project? If so please let me know. I'll get more details for you guys once we have a donor. Thanks!

Sorry, as you can see by my sig I do not have an Evo X. I'm sure that some Evo X owner will PM you for details. The Redline products look nice, but I've never bought them. You should contact this site's admin, Kooldino, for imformation about becoming an approved merchant, when you are ready to sell!

If you want you can check out the how to forums, we had a member write up a how to on making your own custom one. It's fairly inexpensive and takes no more than an hour.

I agree unless you want custom stitching dnoe on yours such as double red stitching etc. I've had stuff made by Redline b4 they make good stuff! Def well worth the money!
