: cobb stg 1 vs 2

if i remember correctly cuz its been a while, i think stage 1 to stage 2 is more impressive than stock to stage 1.

im sorry but im gonna have to disagree with this. stock to stage 1 is like whoa. stage 1 to stage 2 is like... finally my car feels the way it should.

i think what i felt was it gives you more of that sudden burst of boost like stock does, but keeps going strong instead of falling on its face. and its definetely louder.

Stage 2 is more about the fact that you are missing the stock cats than about the tune.

If you are running Stage 2 with the factory exhaust, your car will probably feel slower. Cobb's Stage 1 maps have more aggressive MIVEC settings than Stage 1. And no you shouldn't run the Stage 1 MIVEC settings if you don't have the factory exhaust.

Stage 2 = replacement of stock cat (via high flow cat or test pipe)

O2 housing and dp won't add much at all to the power level or change anything really. The stock ones flow well enough.

Stage 2 you've gotta remove the boost pill. I reflashed to Cobb's stg 2 a while back and I was barely hitting 20 psi compared to 23 or so with stg 1.

I didn't remove the pill which was my point. Tune isn't gonna work right unless you remove it.

I find that the Perrin stage 2 is the best for my mods. With the cobb stage 2 i would over boost like crazy 28 psi. The perrin with the O2 down pipe i hold 26 psi tapering to about 20 by redline, and pulls much harder than the cobb, But the cobb seems a little smoother.

I'm running the mods in my sig plus stage 1. I'm hitting 26psi. So...obviously I'm over boosting so what do I do?

like even if it is 1-2 psi if there are no fallbacks?
Car runs just fine..the ap just says 26 or 27 occasionally.
