Turbotrix evo X goes 12.5!! First time at the track
Took the car to the track last night. The stock ECU is really a problem when trying to launch the car. On the third pass it shut down mid launch so I only got 2 full passes in. First pass I shifted to 5th. On the 2nd pass the car was cutting out the entire way thru 3rd gear, I kept it in 4th gear on that pass so that is why the mph is higher.
The car weighed 3770lbs with me in it.
here are the slips:
60' 1.873
330 5.219
1/8 8.021
mph 88.10
1000 10.441
1/4 12.510
mph 107.58
60' 1.809
330 5.174
1/8 8.065
mph 86.23
1000 10.500
1/4 12.542
mph 109.56

Wow, those are good times. Was the car completely stock? If not what did you add/remove?

Nice runs. You might be the first around here to take the X to the strip.

That's great you got her into the 12's on the first run. That stinks you're having sooo many problems with it cutting out. Tune that ECU and I bet we will see some dramatic results!!! Quick question, how long does it normally take the performance community to put out a tune for a new car?

Why the hell was it cutting out? Too much boost?

Bump for an answer.

I don't think that Bean (Keith from Turbotrix) reads this board often, so I'll fill you in.
The car was going into limp-mode from running high boost. This is the one where the ECU kills the t-body input and doesn't all much of any (read: "next to none") throttle input or acceleration.
Some cars seem to get this but our's has not so far. It's not that we don't kick the same code, but it doesn't kill all of the power to the car. Not quite sure why some cars seem to do this and others don't.
Keith and I were just talking about this last night in fact.

great numbers though. Give us an update when you know more from Keith. thanks for sharing.. limping to a 12.5 sounds impressive.
