Got a question about insurance in GTA with regards to modifications. What are you guys doing when you modify your car? Does it need to be recertified for safety and/or disclosed to said insurer?

That's a good question, i'm not sure. My insurance sent me a letter stating that any modification that affects the speed of the vehicle has to be disclosed. An exhaust and intake don't really increase the speed, a tune would but there is no way of them knowing that the vehicle has been tuned. I really think they mean things like nitrous, or forced induction on a N/A vehicle.

Good question. I dunno. I doubt my broker will welcome these questions well.

the main reason i worry is not the value of the car, but rather the third party liability part. Like for example you hit someone and you get sued for damages, does that mean the insurance will cancel said coverage and your sol?
