So friday I was at work shooting BS back and forth with our new BG rep. After calling him "snake oil" a few times we started talking cars and I asked what they made for manual trans cars and mentioned the shifting issues the evo x's have. Few minutes later in he walks with three bottles of BG Syncro Shift II. He told me give it a shot and let him know what happens. After comparing stats to the mitu fluid the only thing I saw different was the factory fluid is gl3 and BG was gl4. So I gave it a go and changed out the fluid. All I can say is WOW! My car has 6k and has never shifted so smooth. After about a 5-10min warm-up of easy driving I let it have it. never a grind or a clunk. hoping to order the AMS bushings to help it along even more. Just another fix for you guys to try as I didn't really like the "mixing" solutions that others have found. Not to say I won't give them a try, but I was very surprise the BG stuff did anything. Off to beat the hell out of my car now :godance:
