So i flashed stage 1 93oct LWG and my car still seems to boost to 26ish and has a little knock, what do you guys make of this. Could it be a problem with the car?

It looks good but how are you getting full boost at like 2500 rpm and holding it to redline on stage 1. What other upgrades do you have?

No other upgrades power wise.... just clutch and short shifter

First, I want you to do a quick test. Turn your car on, but don't start it. With your engine off, log your Boost with the pedal to the floor. It should only take a quick second. You should just be able to use the AP to display boost and tell me what it says. I'm just making sure things are getting measured correctly.

I wonder if something is very restrictive in your intake or exhaust. If the engine is not allowing air to flow through it, then the turbo will easily build boost to red line.

So, nothing has been touched to the engine components? But you say you have a clutch. I wonder if something didn't get hooked up correctly after the engine was pulled.

Will do, so turn the key to the on position but dont start the car ? and then log? Ya as of now just a stage 2 clutch. Yeah, just turn the car to the on position and don't start. No real reason to log, just have the AP display Boost. Push on the throttle to make sure that it is open to the atmosphere. Then tell me what boost it displayed.

Ahh, now things make sense. It is reading 5.8 psi high. So in reality, you are boosting to 20 psi to red line.

Yes, 20 PSI is fine at red line. Thats about all I push. The stock turbo just can't cut it at those RPM.

The question is, what are you getting at peak boost? I'm thinking that you are maxing out what the AP can read. Do you have ATR?

No i dont have ATR i sent in the request for download yesterday.... According to my log it says my peak boost is 26ish... thats 2 psi over right...

oh so im actually not boosting high enough.... I flashed 2008 usdm evo x stage 1 LWG v1.06.

The last tme i was running the regular stage 1 map ( non LWG) this happened....http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33402
