Ok so im hittin the track this week end & was curious as to what you guys think ill run based on my sig. Ill have results up sunday. Ive never been to the track b4 but im not 2 worried, I can drive the shit outta this car & im gonna do exactly that at the track. Im taking everything out of the car subs,loose change, spare tire everything. Im going with 11.5 or better, what ya think? BTW im running Continental DWS all seasons.

Depending on a 60' around 1.8 I would say... 11.6 @ 120 (Excellent shifts and good launch)

You practice launching your car lots? The ability to run low 11's yes will be somewhat power dependant, but if this your first time at a track you have to consider that it takes a great deal of driver experience too.

to many variables...I have seen many 2.0+ 60' out of both evo's and sti's from people.

You should run a damn quick time but launching at the track is likely different than anything you have tested before. By the end of the night you should be good though...good luck.

Im not to worried I know the car really well & can launch the shit out of it. Track is just a little more sticky so my car will bite that much harder esp when I up the 2 step a lil :)....youll see some good numbers promise ;)

I feel since there is so much more grip ill have 2 ride the clutch for a split second longer out of the hole so i dont bog correct? 2 step will prob b around 6k.

The threads that have been created cause people broke it is what causes a scare. I dont think there really is that many and Im not so sure that it is as week as people are saying

Never been 2 the track this is the first time, I can drive tho ;) . Ill have like 5 gallons of race gas in the car. Launching at around 6K & no reinforcement ring, car has been strong up until this pt so hopefully it holds together :).

121 should put you at mid 11's with decent 60' (~1.7) and excellent shift points.

Yes the Exedy Twin HD, my stocker was on its way out when I ordered mine. Love the clutch it bites so hard but yet it still street driveable and smooth.

ok so here it goes...Im not posting my slip b/c there is no pt n im not happy. Very first run of the day i blew my master cylinder....2.1 60 ft with a 12.3 @ 115. Im a dumbass and had my race gas tune put on the car...well i 4 got to turn my tru boost up to the race gas tuned boost. Had i done that & launched good you would of seen 11.5 at 120 or so. Car is heavy as shit 3650 with the trunk gutted & me in it. All n all had a good time, ran a good time with a broken master cylinder & got some sun just unfortunate my day pretty much ended right when it started. Ill b back up there with some slips & good times.

On a side note launching at the track isnt that much diff than on the street jus grips harder n u gotta feather the clutch more. Had i not gone through the staging area like a tart (newb so i drove right through it lol) I think my 60 would of been pretty damn good and i wudda hit my 11's with a broken master cylinder & low boost. An evo 9 there with a 35r ran like 11.6 @ 116 so im very confident this car can hit mid to low 11's. Oh n some guy there had a twin turbo street legal civic run an 8.6 @ 160 n he was all over the track. Now im sure it was only the civic shell but it was cool 2 see 2 turbos sticking through the hood.

12.3 is still damn good for your first time ever. People here called it on the CMC giving out unfortunately... sucks because now I'm thinking my new clutch will have to go on the same time as a CMC conversion...

All things into consideration, you did a great job out there for your first pass ever at a track!!

Knock 3-4 tenths off of your 60ft times and that converts to an 11.7-11.9 all day on your lower boost settings.... A stronger 330ft et would have converted to more mph at the 1/8th as well-- more in the 93-95mph range like the other X.

All in all we had a blast and will be sure to get you back out there once your cmc is taken care of.
