lwevert 03-19-2008, 02:33 PM Wow that's a nice price for that piece. Have you had any problems with it setting the CEL off? I am assuming the two bungs are for the rear O2 sensor and a AFR sensor.
_Chris_ 03-19-2008, 02:47 PM Thats a great deal.
I am assuming the two bungs are for the rear O2 sensor and a AFR sensor.

Kooldino 03-19-2008, 04:05 PM Wow that's a nice price for that piece. Have you had any problems with it setting the CEL off?
This WILL likely throw a CEL for the 2nd O2 sensor, but there are a few easy fixes for that.
I am assuming the two bungs are for the rear O2 sensor and a AFR sensor.
One for a wideband sensor and one for the secondary O2. :)
USLegalTender 03-19-2008, 11:43 PM PM or list the easy fix? I got cash burning a hole in my pocket!
lwevert 03-20-2008, 12:04 AM Probably a eliminator defouler. You can get them off a few different websites.

ouano 03-31-2008, 09:36 PM I have mine installed. Whoever buys this must know that it does not come with hardware. You either have to be lucky enough to have bolts laying around that fit like I did, or you're going to have to take a trip to the hardware store. Perfect fitment otherwise, and definitely worth it if you have an aftermarket AFR gauge. It would have been nice if it came with all the necessary nuts and bolts though.
USLegalTender 04-02-2008, 07:05 AM Just to second what's already been said. The product is a great fit, however you do need bolts and nuts! As well as Muscles! Mitsubishi made this car child proof.
Kooldino 04-02-2008, 03:31 PM Haha. That's what impact wrenches are for! :)
Can you feel the power gain?
MooseX 04-02-2008, 04:08 PM ooh now that's nice. and looks like a quality piece. I now have that on my mod list for sure. I'm just waiting for EM' before I install all these goodies. First I have to take care of the Tax man though before any of this modding'
ouano 04-02-2008, 04:16 PM My car actually feels a lot smoother than before. We all know of the hiccups this car has toward redline. With the mbc, drop-in, and test pipe, the hiccups are definitely gone. Without the test pipe, there were a few areas that were questionable in the powerband, but it's all smoothed out. I had my uncle (who has driven 911 turbo's, Lotus, turbo'd NSX, etc. and currently drives a CLK430) drive my car this weekend, and he was blown away, which is not easy to do. The power comes on hard, and I'm tempted to say that first gear feels more like a IX now. I definitely recommend this product, especially if you're running an aftermarket O2 sensor, but remember to buy the nuts and bolts!!
USLegalTender 04-02-2008, 06:03 PM +1 for the loss of rickidy power band. Not only does it help out incredibly in the top end, but continues giving a hard kick in the pants on the bottum end too!
Kooldino 04-03-2008, 03:12 PM
Glad you guys like it. :)

The beauty of this mod is that you don't need an EMS to get a nice gain from it. Just bolt up and go!
socalevox 04-23-2008, 12:34 AM just put it on and dam it feels much smoother and faster :godance: its a great quality part u can even use the factory hanger i was thinking that it was going to be way loud with my custom exhaust but no it sounded almost the same i an super happy with this part but yea u just need to buy some bolts  i put some non fouler on the o2 i hope i dont get a cel so far so good THANKS KOOLDINO
UnctrldRage 04-23-2008, 02:10 AM Wouldn't splicing in an O2 Simulator work as well for the O2 Sensor?

Kooldino 04-23-2008, 01:28 PM Wouldn't splicing in an O2 Simulator work as well for the O2 Sensor?
Yes, but it's easier to use the nonfouler trick.
EVOLUTIONARY 04-23-2008, 02:28 PM ouano: So you have a stock exhaust still? If so, did it make the car any louder?
ouano 04-23-2008, 04:29 PM Yep still running the stock exhaust. It's BARELY noticeable, but yes the tone seems to get slightly deeper and a hair louder. Nobody would guess there is a test pipe on there unless they stand in back of the car and enjoy the fumes :)
Kooldino 04-23-2008, 04:32 PM amen!
EVOLUTIONARY 04-23-2008, 04:49 PM Bad ass!
