Is it hot? Try to get it cooler. Like put it in the fridge for a little bit.

Gee, I finally get to the point of purchasing an AP and I keep hearing about these problems... and they are not minor ones either. I really hope it's just a bad batch of units. Cobb needs to fix this. I sure hate to see their reputation for quality parts ruined. Sad thing is they may indeed have a swelled head now and are getting lazy...I really hope not.

This is not a common malfunction. There is probably only a handful of these that have really had problems. You only hear about the bad

Dont look at it like that. There are always going to be problems with things. Think about how many people have had 0 issues with the AP(me being one of them). You guys just read about the problems and assume that every one of the units is defective

I hope so. I had AP's on both my previous Subaru's and never had any issues but like I said I hope its was just a bad batch and not a new trend.

The Subaru AP's are built almost (if not exactly) identical to ours. They both use OBDII ports. It's probably just a software load that they differ by.
If you are in the market to buy an AP, you can always find a used one that was known good.

This is true, i know alot of people with APs and all are in working order... THIS IS NOT A COMMON MALFUNCTION. Nor are malfunctions common...
