Just finalized my tune yesterday by John at HB Speed and I am more than happy with the results. The car is wayyyyy sick compared to what I got used to for so long. Well, more like 1900 miles in 6 months haha. Final results??

This is an E-85 tune with I think 24 PSI (John can chime in when he gets a chance for full details along with the graph) with the following performance mods:

TurboXS Catless Turboback System
FP Red
Blouch WGA
AEM Dry Cone Filter Short Ram Intake
Agency Power 3" UICP
1000cc Deatschwerks Injectors
Brian Crower 272 Cams and Springs
Custom BlaqOps High Flow Fuel Pump

I do notice a slight slippage but only when I allow the tranny to shift on its own but on the paddles, it seems to shift just fine. I have the SSP 500 clutch packs but have not installed them yet. Figured I'd go through the stock clutches and see how they hold up since this is just a daily driver and if/when I decide to start racing it, I'll get the clutches installed (Gotta recover from the big holes in my pocket $$$$$$$)

Anyways, the guys at HB Speed were great. I even had the pleasure of being entertained by a serious douchebag customer of theirs on my first visit earlier in June who was just a complete idiot with his reasoning for not wanting to pay for a retune but that's a whole different post in its own lol.

Thanks HB Speed. I am more than happy (for the moment lol) with the power output of this monster. I'm sure down the road after I get used to the power and there are more improvements on the SST, I will end up upgrading the injectors, add a manifold and bigger intercooler to get some more out of it. Til then, it is wheels and suspension time!!

Congrats on the numbers.

Your next step of mods should be.

AMS Widemouth 02/ Downpipe Combo
DW 1500cc Injectors
Blaqops Double Pump Setup with MAF Controller
Intercooler Upgrade
3 Port BCS
CBRD Manifold

And make 500+whp on E85

I still need to get retuned and make 520whp+ Jon has done it with his previous setup.

Glad you enjoy! Graph to come soon!
Archie is right some bigger injectors, manifold and a 02 downpipe will give you some more, but I am sure you are enjoying it for now :dancebanana:

No FMIC that would help him out and I suggest when you do next round of mods. No need for LICP's ;)

Congrats! those are some fantastic numbers, and to do so wih touching the SST or even a aftermarket FMIC is amazing! Post up some pictures of the beast and definitely keep us posted!

Nice. I wouldn't mind have 400whp on tap...especially going to all four wheels!

Looks like fun, man. Congrats.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I should be at MOD tomorrow and will probably take some photos of my stock looking MR-T. It's nearly impossible to stay off the damn gas pedal. Boyyyy this car is gonna get me in trouble. It's so much fun to drive.

I'll invest in the remaining performance parts later on this year hopefully. I gotta recover from all this damage. This thing is a money pit but I love it!!!

Wow I am impressed. Huge gain for little $. I count $3500 without labor. That is amazing.

Almost. Roughly about $4100-$4300. Only if I was mechanically inclined. Dammit for labor! lol

Oh well. It's only hard earned money haha

Hey Jon, would you recommend an E85 tune on the stock turbo, or do you think it would be best to wait until a turbo upgrade?

That's good to hear, it looks like I'm going to start buying and gathering parts for this next upgrade then.

You'll have fun with that. Make sure you do your homework before you buy, though. (if you haven't, yet that is.)

E85 can only help! but your turbo gets maxxed out pretty quick, but expect nice tq and some HP gain

Only if I was mechanically inclined

I always have mixed feelings about that. I hired pros for most of my work and even they messed stuff up. Learning wrenching on such an expensive car probably isn't the best idea.
