I just got another phone call from the new cars manager at walser mitsubishi in Minnesota, he said that some of the MRs actually have already been imported to the US and are awaiting reprogramming from mitsubishi because there was a bug with the tranny at high speeds. At first mitsu corporate had informed him that the car wouldnt be released till mid july and apparently they said this just to give them ample time to resolve this issue. Mitsubishi actually had closed some roads outside of vegas in order to test and resolve this issue and juusssst finished the tweak that is needed to correct the problem. He said that every MR in the world has this problem and anyone who has one will have to bring it back to the dealer for the tweak. He also said that because they resolved the issue far ahead of schedule, mitsu is saying the car will come out late may/early june.

As new info comes in, I will keep everyone updated.

Nothing new. I think it was KMX that said that the MRs arrived about a month ago at port. And its not going anywhere until they have resolved the issue(s).

I remember reading some where just last week, that a guy who works at these ports, said here work at the port,but not seen any MR. yet.

According to the dealer order system...my car was built in Feb, and is supposed to arrive in port on the 26th of March. We all know how reliable THOSE dates are...LOL. I WANT MY VIN!!! Hahahhaa

I might be able to get a vin for mine.... my dealer seems to be more than willing to divulge information.. I will check and see tomorrow. :thumbup:

Well, there was no VIN for mine yet, and well, according to the "port date" its supposed to have arrived in port already...actually, lemme dig up the piece of paper and check. LOL
