I haven't really introduced myself here yet, but the name is James. I picked up an Octane Blue X about 2 weeks ago from South Coast (awesome deal, by the way). I thought I would give a little review of the Zeitronix setup. I bought the Zt-2 + Black LCD Display package and the additional 50 psi MAP sensor. I originally had this on my turbo'd 2007 Scion tC. I have never been a fan of pillar mounted gauges or gauge pods, so this is a nice alternative, especially since both the tC and the X have curtain airbags. You can log it just like the other gauges out there, although I haven't gotten a chance to do this personally. The software and hardware are very simple to setup. I love it. It has a peak and hold feature that is very convenient, especially when I was tuning my manual boost controller.

I have it mounted using a cell phone/PDA windshield mount from www.extremepda.com (http://www.extremepda.com) - a little pricey, but it is a nice piece. I have the MAP sensor setup right now, but I'm waiting on things to get sorted out on my test pipe. So if you guys and girls are looking for something different, functional, and convenient, I highly suggest purchasing this unit. You can read up on the website of all its capabilities (TPS, RPM, EGT, AFR etc.). It's a nice all-in-one package. The website is www.zeitronix.com  (http://www.zeitronix.com)
I hope I don't get flamed for reviewing a non-sponsor!

Very nice unit, But the location you have it would be in the airbags path.
I might have to take this path as for Gauges because i decided to go will a double din head unit.
I think the Zeitronix mounted in the middle right above the radio would be a good location.

Thanks for the tip. Don't the curtains deploy over the window though? I can see how it might be in the way, but it is actually farther away from the window than the picture makes it look. I might put it in the center, but I've got a Passport 8500 x50 sitting there right now.

Thats an expensive setup though, though it is nice. I have one myself, but I dont think I am going to install it, or my AVC-R, this time.

The Zeitronix IS a great unit... this is were i mounted mine. Yes I have to look down, but its the most conspicuous place that I was able to find...
Ouano, were you able to find/connect the RPM and TPS wires? those are the only two wires I havent tapped into the Harness yet. I was having trouble finding the right wires based on the RRE illustration of the harness... LMK. and thanks in advance!

I had it in the same spot as you in my tC. I haven't had a chance to tap into the RPM or TPS signal yet. I will get around to it eventually, but for now I just use it to monitor boost spikes and AFRs.
