wondering that myself. I hear it when turbo is spooling hard on the long straights. I can't really look down while autocrossing but when I get back to the pit. whatever it was there is no warning. I just thought it might be the tmps.

but good ears. :)

it might be ur brakes.. I had the same sound at track and I was able to look down at one point on the warm up lap.. someone said it could be the fluids on the reservoir that are a little messed up.. I got 2 ou 3 warnings at the beginning then nothing more..

Good stuff! Asc all off is where the Evo is the fastest. I found that out when I went auto x last year :) You have excellent control in the rain. I was sliding around even on a hot dry day!

this should have been posted in the autox section

thought it was more appropriate to post it locally. most canadian won't go to the auto x section.

Thanks Guys!! I have a harder time to slide in hot dry weather even with stiff rear sway and stock up front.

it might be ur brakes.. I had the same sound at track

next time, i'll look down. at this moment i can not find out what the reason was. brakes and reservoir looks fine to me.

How long was the run? I went to a ubcscc autocross and was pretty disappointed in terms of seat time, each run was about 35-40 seconds, just as you get into it the run is over.

Overall the evo x handles great even when you feel like you are starting to lose control it just recovers so easily.

the run range from 43 seconds to 60 seconds depending how good you drive. it is funny that an slower driver gets more value for their dollar.

there isn't too many course designs to be created because how narrow and small pitt meadow is. if you want a longer course like 60 seconds, then it results in fewer runs. Most prefer more runs than more time in the run. we did 8 runs in total for 40 drivers which is great. the most i have done is like 14 runs with 40 sec course that is with like 20 drivers only :)
