: Engine Management Preferences Survey
COBB Tuning 08-11-2010, 07:15 PM Everyone,
We are conducting an online survey to get a better understanding of what you, the tuning enthusiasts, are most interested in seeing in your tuning solution. You do not need to be a COBB customer to participate in this survey. In fact, we would like to encourage customers of competing products to participate in this survey as well. Your feedback well help us better understand the tuning needs of the community as a whole, and provide products that better match those needs.
This survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete. If you would like to participate, please click this Engine Management Preferences Survey (http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e2znip7ygcnu4h3l/start) link to begin.
Thanks!
Travis

Accessport version n.0? (where n= current version number + 1 (sorry, I don't know if there have been any major revisions resulting in additional numbers beyond 1.0; the elegant solution to avoid displaying ignorance was a complicated explanation of a function relating to the potential of a new name for the Accessport)). At any rate, I'm excited for what this could lead to! Sign me up to test one out.

We ran a survey earlier this year where we asked several questions about what features, additions you would like to see on the AccessPORT. You are always welcome to email us your ideas at tech@cobbtuning.com. Thank you all for your participation and keep those responses coming!

djmac 08-18-2010, 07:09 PM I know it may be a bit of a dumb question (I can probably answer it myself) BUT:
Any updates on the progress of, what I assume is, the next gen AP? More specifically, a target release date? I'm getting close to wanting/needing one, and if I can get the next-gen AP by waiting a month or two longer than I was going to wait (which is already a few months), I would be more than willing to wait for the newest and shiniest.
Golden 08-18-2010, 07:17 PM I think they are in the process of defining it. Then they will have to develop it. And finally they will manufacture them. So, look at a year or so down the road.
COBB Tuning 08-19-2010, 11:42 PM Any updates on the progress of, what I assume is, the next gen AP? More specifically, a target release date? Right now we are still gathering input from the enthusiasts, both current AP users as well as users of other tuning solutions. We don't have any idea on a release date as we don't even know what it's going to be yet! We're still collecting data and once all the responses are in, we'll be making decisions that best match the feedback we receive. Only then will we start design and development.
To answer your question, we are quite a ways out. It's going to be a longer wait than a month or two for sure!
Sincerely, thanks to everyone for participating in the survey, whether you are a COBB fan or not!
