: ECUTek to release tuning software for EVO X next week!
PDXEvo 04-01-2008, 07:43 PM Just got word that ECUTek is officially releasing their platform to tune the Evo X next week! Really looking forward to seeing how this pans out.
Do we have any ECUTek dealers here that can share more information?

USLegalTender 04-02-2008, 07:02 AM KoolDino, if you read this, I say you should carry it.
+1 for a great product and price on the exhaust pipe. Absolutely no codes with the writeup concerning the defoulers, and I can actually FEEL more pull! The Evo now has close to a 1:1 noise ratio between engine noise and exhaust. Engine noise is still slightly louder though.
X-MAN 04-02-2008, 12:13 PM Finally! I was getting tire of waiting.
Tunerhead 04-06-2008, 11:55 PM Good news, good news!!!!

The ECUTek is a good system, but personally, I like something that is tunable by the end user.

LOL, yeah, must have been a rough two months. :p
PDXEvo 04-07-2008, 05:02 PM I found out even more information on ECUTek. They are going to support live map tuning and access to all aspects of the engine. The bad news is they are still not user tunable, require a license, and lock your ECU when they are done. This may cause issues when people go to get the ECU update from Mitsu.
TriStateEvo 04-16-2008, 02:03 AM Any EcuTek dealer can bring your car back to factory settings in case of the need for an ECU update from the a Mitsubishi service department.

I sure did! I had a evo 8 moded and tuned so i am going through power withdrawal. :tumbleweed:

boosted 04-23-2008, 09:40 PM any pricing on the ecutek? Has anyone tuned an evo x with this yet? If so what kind of power gains on stock setup
PDXEvo 04-24-2008, 03:01 AM Price is usually $650, and you need to have someone come tune it.
LIGHTSPD 04-24-2008, 08:28 AM We also have the ECUTEK but will not be offering any flashing for at least 2 weeks so we can perfect the tune on our own car.
