Just like the titles states, how can I do this? Are dealers the only ones that can do it?

I'm guessing you mean pulling codes via CAN in general, correct?

You cannot diagnose CAN data with any old scan tool, it needs to be CAN compliant.

There are many types/brands of CAN scanners. They are very expensive though when compared to a free diagnostic check at your local dealer.. And no, a Tactix or AP will not do this.

Disappointing. I thought EvoScan would be able to read them. I guess ill just have to swing by the dealer.

Where can I find a reference of all the codes for the asc system?

You can read them and get a general trouble code. Problem comes when you have to narrow it down within the bus.

Haven't seen any OBD 2 scanners that can read ASC Error Codes, to pull asc codes u need the MUT-III tool.

If you have this tool you can pull all codes from any system in the car.

yes the only codes you can grab with generic OBD scanners are from the ECU and TCU...

ACD/ASC/SAWC/AYC will require a mut3...

Can anyone confirm this one works for the S-AWC system? I am having some issues with my S-AWC Service Light coming on and EvoScan shows nothing.

thanks!
