It it's your DD and you arent a track enthusiast, then i'd suggest against getting coilovers. Get some lowering springs, along with an RCA. Shouldnt be more than $400-500 total. Swift, Eibach, Tien etc. all make great lowering springs for the X.

If you're going to the track, and want it to be stiff, go with coilovers. Also might want to consider getting adjustable sway bars, new stonger endlinks aren't a bad idea either.

depends, how low do you wanna go?

Do you want cheaper or more expensive? Do you want crazy adjustability or do you just want to be lower? Are you just DD or are you gonna track? Does bling factor matter to you?

These things should all affect your decision.

wow im a noob so i didnt think much into it. right now i dont plan on tracking the car so i think im just going to go with the lowering springs. my next question is will these do http://www.evoxtuning.com/0811-mitsubishi-evox-lowering-springs-pro-kit-eibach-p-71621.html. it says its a 1.2 lower in the front and 1 in the back. is that a lot? because my driveway is on a hill i dont want the front scraping when i park...

Google for Eibach and Swift lowering springs pictures. Easy enough to find.

I'm pleased with Swift, Eibach is a bigger drop.

Eibachs provide a more even drop (F and R) and are cheaper then the Swifts. I hear good things about the Swifts too, but just don't like the front being higher than the rear.

yup i have the swift when i am a beginner because i can't drive a very low car, it turns good on corners but after awhile i got sick of the stance due to a higher height on the front than rear, then i switched to tein-stech still the same stance yuckk!! after replacing 2 springs i end up with eibach prokit and i love the way it looks and handles on turn...

I got coilovers cause I switch over back to stock for winter. Its a bit easier to change the whole coilover out than changing springs every season.

See his signature and it's T1R B52 Coilover, that cost around 1200-1500CAD

I personally like the swift spec-r for a dd and a good set of coilovers for the track.
