What would be a good strong paint to use on the plastic cover in the engine bay? Anything that would work well on plastic and stand up to the heat in there? Thanks guys!

Use plastic primer first before you spray the actual paint.

Scuff the cover with sandpaper or a scotch brite pad before you paint it.

Use Duplicolor 500* spray paint that you can buy from advanced auto.

oh paint not color. yeah what dino said. Pick a good brand and let it dry for a few days off the engine...then repeat.

Awesome, So scuff >> Primer >> Dry >> Coat 1 >> Dry >> Coat 2

Sound good?

And what did you mean by 'get your hood popped? @_@
