Streaky wipers? 10 bucks or more a pop for a blade, no refils available?

I just purchased thre wiper wizard, at the impluse section of most auto stores in my area. I figured it'd be worth a shot to try, for 10 bucks, if it gives me longer life out of a set of a few wiper blades, it'd be worth it.

The product, as applied to my wiper blades in 2 swipes, 1 for coarse, 1 for fine, then given a rub down with a wet cloth, turned my streaky blades into streak free blades. Piece of cake, took 1 minute, 2 if you count the fact I cleaned my windshield.

I do clean my blades with every wash, but I find they still leave streaks after a short while (even with high end blades). So, if you care to have my 2 cents, the wiper wizard, although in the impulse isle, does deliver.

For the DIY guys who want an alternative, the product looks like a nail file inside a simple set of guide rails. Could sandpaper or a nail file be as effective? Possibly.

In the end, I know I will have to replace my blades eventually, but a little more life, or just a quick touch up for streak-free wipers is worth the money I spent. Something about a clean windshield makes a car feel that much more clean, so I put this here in detailing.

Nice buy and thanks for the review. I always ran bosch wiper blades on all my past cars which i think work brilliant in almost all conditions. My blades on the evo are fairly good soo far and I I currently use rain-ex and barely use my wipers. Rain-ex is god!
