Hey dudes, been a long time since I've had some content to post up...finally I've got some! Ok, so after some more 'development' issues (intercooler pipes, throttle bodies, transmissions, etc.... haha), I made it up to BIR in MN this weekend for a final shakedown before heading to Vegas this weekend for Redline T/A at Spring Mountain.

The main focus was to make sure the car ran, smoothly, and that it was fast. I know the car can handle, we've developed the JRZ/Nitto combo awhile ago, so I wasn't pushing it too hard thru the corners. BUT, you get to see the car hit 188 and hear it spank pretty hard haha! Also, running old brake pads...hence the squeal.

I run in Modified AWD class, so there are some pretty awesome GT-R's, STi's and WRX's...definitely nice Evo VIII's and IX's out there. Pretty good group.. Check out www.Redlinetimeattack.com and check out some of the info when you have a chance.

just to puyt his in perspective as to how sick 188 is even in formula one on the fastest track the best they can hit is about 210-214 depending on the wing they use and so forth I bet he might get close to 200 on a track like that so this is really nuts especially in a 4dr production car body. That's one hell of a speed for god's sake its just a 2.2 4 banger in a sedan body this is just plain insane.

Car is looking sick Ryan, can't wait to get out there next season in the Street Tire class. If you were hitting 188 mph in the straight, what kind of cornering speed was the following right hander? That has to be a rush trying to figure out what speed it will support, probably one of the trickier things you can do on a road course.

A good question.

He straightened out turn one a lot more than I usually do (I'm barely over on the old pavement) and hitting it at 110 is a picnic. One of the instructors at BIR's driving school says he drifts through that turn at 135-140 (in a 240sx). Not for me! lol.

I wasn't pushing too hard thru that corner, but it was around 130-140. the car can do like 145-150 through it though, no prob with the NT01's. Have fun out there dude

That can easily be changed with a map switch in MoTeC...10,500rpm sometimes.

Nice shakedown runs. Pulls so hard out of the corners. Now I want one so bad, not sure if I can wait till early 2011 as planned.
