In the end, the Evo soundly whips the new Subaru STI in all areas...

Not sure how it suddenly became a 2009 ???

You left out the "...except two..." , 1) STi much more versatile, and 2) the STi is more relaxing at highway speeds. Plus, I have two more, 3) the STi has a much higher quality interior, and 4) the STi has a 6 speed stick...

"They should dump a few more features like auto climate control"

My evo has climate control.

No question in my mind: I'd buy this car over the new, too-insulated Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

I think Evo is one of those Love-Hate relationship car. It is expensive, well subjective I guess, and has a sub-par interior, but damn it is fun to drive! And the moment you start the engine, nothing matters anymore :D

You know what though. I don't think the interior is that bad. Sure they could have used higher quality materials, but hey I'd rather have better performance. I'm not sure if you've been in a previous evo, but this interior huge step up. I'm so content with this car in every way. I love it!

I agree! but you can't deny that the interior is still the weakest aspect of the Evo! but like you have pointed out, performance > interior! haha :bowlol:

:+1: Letting that thing go a little bit when i get out of work, just makes me forget the day I just had; like nothing else matters or even exists.

Although I think the performance you get for the US price is a real good deal. Sorry to open that Canadian wound:(.
