Claybar will take out surface rust from rail dust or similar metal crap in the surface of your paint. I notice them on my car too, little tiny rust spots, but they come out no problem with some claybar.

Why are you washing with rusty well water?

I live in Canada, give me a break, we don't have the luxury of running water. The damn ice bridge doesn't even open for 2 months, so I'm stuck with the rusty well water until I can get out of here!

You also paid like 85k for your car.

I feel for you, Canadian brother.

40,000$ for a base GSR in 08, hardly not worth it when I can only use the car for 3 months out of the year, the other 9 I use my dogsled.

Clay will remove most of the rust deposits, but it will also do some damage/scratching to the paint. You will need ot find a delicate balance.

First off get a water filter to remove ht rust so you stop contaminating the car when you wash it. Griots sells a nice filter, although it's ~$100/US.

Holy crap man, get some suspension on it to raise it up a bit, some under trays, mean snow/ice tires and dominate those 9 months!

at our shop we only have well water too which is full of yellow contaminants, if water stays in bucket day or two you can see nice sediment on bottom and water then becomes clear. we set up water filter to wash the cars, i would say it lasted us about 2 month, about 20-30 cars, you can get CR spotless as well, http://www.detailedimage.com/CRSpotless-M30/Wall-Mount-Water-De-ionizer-System-P159/100-Gallons-S1/

you can go to local hardware store (home depot or something similar that you guys have up there and look for house water filter, im sure there is something there since well water is probably common there
