so recently my shifting has become notchy. I took a peak under the hood and poked around and realized that the codder (sp) pin is GONE on the verticle (back) bushings... im guessing they are wedged in there pretty well since they havent fallen out... would this contribute to shitty shifting? AMS only provided 1 codder pin so I have no extras.. its not a special codder pin is it? I know I can get more auto essayzone but is there a certain size?

I guess I'll know to check there if I feel a difference in the shifting... don't have specifics on the codder pin though, did you try calling AMS to see if you can get a replacement?
Btw, it's VatoZone

The codder pin just keeps the bushing connected, I wouldn't THINK it would impact shifting.
You can probably pick up a replacement one at a hardware store or something; I think, back when I did my BR shifter bushings, I ended up dropping a pin and losing it, and just replaced it locally.

If it fits snuggly, it'll work just fine. Hell, use a safety pin if you want :)
