We are going to be trying out something new with the classifieds section here today. It is basically an add on that will allow members to post their cars for sale on eBay Motors Classified section for free and without any duplication of effort.

All you need to do is create a new thread in the Vehicles For Sale section. Once you click the new thread button you'll be prompted to continue and get started. If you choose to list your car on Ebay as well and take advantage of the free listing, you'll need to click the Login into eBay button, which will open a page on eBay for you to login to and give access to the plug-in. If you don't wish to use it, just click "No Thanks".

Once completed, you'll return to the forum. click continue, fill out the information and submit the ad. Your listing will be posted to the forum and also to the eBay Motors Classifieds section. Let me know how you like/dislike this new feature.

Obviously, the real DOWNSIDE of using Ebay is the Ebay fees for selling an item, should it be successfull. I'd recommend "mentioning" that, of else you'll have some ham-fisted moron bitching about a fee should the item sell.

Question: From your description I got that this is for COMPLETE VEHICLES only, not parts and such. Is this correct?

Correcto...

Just remember that ebay does charge a fee after the sale as been made which is typical for ebay sales. The listing is free. They will take their cut afterwards. Remember that.
