I installed a Hallman pro rx mbc ,well i think i installed it right should it still be at stock boost with it all the way turned off? If so then it did not work for me..i drove it with it turned off and im only getting bout 11 psi...And i turned it up a lot almost all the way and it only got to 18psi but it kinda sounded like valve tapping when accelerating..

11-12psi is wastegate, so that would be normal. If you are dialing the device all the way down, and you are unable to build more boost then 12psi through red line, then you have a problem. If this is the case, then I would look to ensure there are no boost leaks anywhere, including the open spot left in the intake tubes after removing the stock solenoids. Also check to ensure that your MBC is installed in the proper orientation. If this all checks out, then your spring may not be strong enough, or your seals on the MBC are failing. MBC's are very simple devices, so they are pretty easy to troubleshoot.

Sounds like you hit a safe mode operation limit. You may have over boosted, or had more airflow then the car expected. Get the code pulled and let me know what it is.
