whoever bought evo's over the so-called event they had in October got screwed, they know the 11's would be out soon so they were just trying to sell them 4 top dollar before the better rebates and financing came out.....now it 2000 cash back and you could also opt for the 0% for 48 months....:bowlol:

"Prices include $2000 Mitsubishi rebate", guess that means the prices have gone up since last month if I'm looking to finance though MMCA :(

Any smash deals for the 2011s?

LOL i got mine in june for the 31,999 price and i was like DAMNIT i could have saved ~1500 but i see the price now includes 2000 rebate OR 0% financing
so my price would have been 32,599 if i got in on the october special so prices went up! either way i was happy, i got to enjoy my evo an extra 3 mos which was worth the 1500 to me. :dancebanana:

yeah they are real back and forth with their prices and they don't budge at all, I get the attitude from they like "hey our prices are low already, don't like it too bad" So i just bought one used with low miles. They lie like a mofo too, it just irks me how everyone praises this place and Sam but it just another salesman to me.

Most dealerships are like that, everyone is out to make money so what you pay is really what they want you to pay, not vice versa.

i think they can budge if they really wanted to... im a pretty good example, i remember awhile ago evan carpenter, at least i think thats what his name was, well he posted a thread with crazy ass prices claiming only he can get it at those prices at anaheim mitsu, so i called them and printed that page and went straight to long beach mitsu, that night of march of 09 i got a brand new 08 sss for 27k, out the door with tax and title it was alittle over 30k, sticker was almost 36k.. next morning, post was gone. this was all on the other site, now thats aggressive blowout pricing>> ;)

So he has upfront-no-haggle pricing and your complaining that they lie and is just another salesman...

Get real douche-bag, the guys just trying to make a living. His prices are great and they will move the cars at this price, so why would they drop them to help you out?

BTW: Customers lie 100x more than sales people do.

Hey *******, first of all, why don't we quit with the name calling before shit gets real ugly I don't know you, you don't know me so quit while you're ahead.

If you read what I said earlier you will see that it wasn't the price that I was up in arms about it was their sales tactics and the fact the one salesperson gets more accolades then everyone else, when essentially he's doing what everyone else does. Do me a favor when you want to call names and try to be a smartass read first and then comment.

lol @ sam being a salesperson, he's the GM and he had me in and out in 1 hr with the price posted on the forums and gave me what i wanted for my trade.
there's a reason nobody is going to south coast anymore and have migrated over to HB mitsu.

i felt the transaction was more than fair, hell every other dealership wouldn't come near his prices at the time i bought

it is a good price assuming you have the cash, but i'm gonna guess most people are going to finance as its 0%, no reason not to.

Come on Sam, you can do better than these prices. I got my MR for 35,103 before TTL in August @ SCM but not from you since you had to take care of your baby and baby mama, I took the 0% financing so I didn't get the 1,000 off.

Basing off how you include the 2,000 rebate, if someone wanted to buy a MR for 0% financing, it'd be at 35,699 which is essentially the same price as it was before in the previous months. Just letting people know that there is still a little wiggle room.

buying any car will always be a hassle and a haggle fest. I just go into it accepting that fact. If it works for me I buy. If it doesn't i dont.

for the record, Sam treated me fairly and I bought from him. I have no regrets.

The only time I dont Smash a deal is when the offer is unreasonable to someone does not quailfy. Otherwise, I love to smash any deal that walks through the door. People know, I am not firm, I might not bend a lot on price but may offer other goodies to compensate. Also remember I am the only dealer in the nation that when you buy a car from me, I pay for all your oil changes when you come to my store. That adds up really fast. Some dont drive much, but god I see some peeps every month :) Both customers are welcome. I am sorry that we could not come to terms on a price but glad that you did join the family and bought an evo. Not only do I sell them but I own a few of them on a personal level. Love the cars big time. My personal collection of cars could make a Mitsubishi store in itself :) I hope that we still see you for parts, service and warranty work. You do not need to buy a car from me to get 30% off on the parts, I hold no grudges and will still offer it :)

As someone mentioned, I am not a car salesman but the General Manager. Might not have value to some but that does allow me to make the deals I do without influence of a regular car guy that does not appriciate the loyalty and following of the evo crowd. I do my best to give the best prices, best service, and as much free stuff that I can get away with before the owner rings my neck :) These events and meets we put together are not cheap, and we never ask for a dollar. Just one way of saying thanks.

The deals some month are better than others, on my bottom line the loss is the same. Its really up to the program issued each month by corporate. We have no control nor the budget to loose more. We have more customers than cars :( I wish the other way around. I hate telling people, sorry out of that color, sorry out of that option.

Have a little mercy, just making a living here. Trust me, none of my deals are the type to brag about. You guys are all saving ;) One way or another you will get your fair share, win something, or just a simple oil change.

Back to Smashing, oh yea if your still really upset, just grab a phone and give me a call. I dont mind a few minutes of fighting and getting back to being friends.
